Sunday Song: How Deep the Father’s Love for Us
In this morning's sermon, my pastor encouraged us that it is natural to believe that God does not love us, but that it is the work of the Holy Spirit's work in the believers' heart that gives assurance of God's love. God is love. We love because He first loved us. God will never stop… Continue reading Sunday Song: How Deep the Father’s Love for Us
What Child is This: a song for Christmas
1. What Child is this who, laid to rest On Mary's lap is sleeping? Whom Angels greet with anthems sweet, While shepherds watch are keeping? Teacher Seeking Approval
Sometimes, in the midst of the hurry, the pressures, and worries of this time in the semester, I forget that those things are not the sum of my life, or even the sum of my present circumstances. Saturday Song: Praise the Risen King
Today's song is a medley of four hymns. First, Praise to the Lord the Almighty starts of recognizing Jesus is King of Creation and our salvation. Sons… Continue reading Saturday Song: Praise the Risen King
True Testimony
“It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, while the sun’s light failed. And the curtain in the temple was torn two. Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this, he… Continue reading True Testimony
