When Trials Come, by Keith and Kristyn Getty, is one of my favorite songs. It’s just a wonderful reminder of why we go through trials (“to fire a faith worth more than gold“), a reminder to focus on God (“your love endures your ways are good“), and a reminder of where we are going (“One day all things will be made new; I’ll see the hope you’ve called me to. And in your kingdom paved with gold, I’ll praise your faithfulness of old.“)
